When refinement meets the adrenaline of rock, it sparks a bold new collaboration between S.T. Dupont and Fender. To mark the opening of Fender’s new flagship store in Tokyo’s vibrant Harajuku district, the two iconic houses join forces once again to unveil a powerful collection inspired by Japan and the legendary world of electric guitars.

The harmony of kintsugi and gold dust

Each piece in this collection is a vibrant tribute to the Japanese art of repair known as kintsugi, where cracks are turned into works of art using gold dust. A poetic, ancient, and resilient gesture that echoes the craftsmanship of S.T. Dupont and its mastery of lacquer and hand-applied gold. A nod to the iconic curves of Fender’s Stratocaster® and Mustang® guitars, the collection follows the lines of these legendary instruments with reverence and creativity.

Crafted for legends

Ligne 2 and Line D Eternity are reimagined here as true visual instruments. The lighter, rollerball, and fountain pen adopt the shape, neck, and strings of a guitar. The lighter’s cap features a new guilloche pattern inspired by kintsugi crack lines, while the pen’s clip transforms into a guitar head. Every detail reflects a passion for craftsmanship and the pursuit of perfect harmony.

Two lines, two icons: Black & Golden and Blue & Golden

The spirit of rock comes alive in two distinct expressions. Black & Golden pays tribute to the iconic black Stratocaster®, while Blue & Golden celebrates the Mustang® in blue, famously played by Kurt Cobain in the legendary Smells Like Teen Spirit video. Each variation comes with matching accessories: cigar cutter, ashtray, and a pick-shaped pendant engraved with crossed initials.

The guitar hero’s jewel: the mediator necklace

Echoing S.T. Dupont’s lifestyle creations, the mediator necklace embodies the spirit of this collaboration: a rock-inspired, functional accessory designed for music lovers. With its polished steel and chrome finish, it’s worn like a lucky charm or a subtle nod to the stage.

A Made in Japan guitar, limited edition

The crowning jewel of this fusion of style and sound: a limited-edition Fender Stratocaster® Made in Japan. Hand-applied golden sparkles, a hidden compartment to hold an S.T. Dupont lighter, and custom-designed humbuckers… Every element showcases the refined artistry and innovation of both brands. This exceptional piece will be available for exclusive pre-order in Tokyo starting June 13, followed by a Paris unveiling on June 18.
