S.T. Dupont and the Paris Opera unveil a new limited-edition collection: Phantom of the Paris Opera. In Paris, beneath the gilded splendour of the Palais Garnier, when the murmur of the audience fades and the curtain falls, another story begins; invisible, yet enduring. The story of the Phantom, born from the pen of Gaston Leroux. Neither entirely monster nor entirely man, he makes this place of light his kingdom of shadows. His musical genius is matched only by his solitude and by an absolute, impossible love for Christine, a young Opera singer who becomes his obsession. It is this profoundly human tension that S.T. Dupont chooses to explore, turning its creations into the very stage of the story. Through Phantom of the Paris Opera, lighters, writing instruments and accessories become scenes where the symbols of the tale emerge: from the mask concealing a hidden identity to the box inhabited by an invisible presence, and the rose, trace of a tragic love, all subtly suggested through materials and craftsmanship. The Premium “Angel of Music” line explores the relationship between Christine and the Phantom, where music becomes both a bond and a hold. Musical notes cover the pieces, evoking the Phantom's genius and the obsession that consumes him. The rose appears in the designs as the trace of an absolute and impossible love, while box “No. 5”, reserved for the Phantom and always empty, embodies an invisible yet constant presence. The pieces are expressed through two colour worlds: an intense red lacquer inspired by the stage and passion, and a deep green lacquer evoking the underground lake beneath the Palais Garnier, the Phantom's refuge. Ligne 2 lighter in glossy black S.T. Dupont lacquer, adorned with a musical score and the Phantom's mask in white applied lacquer on the front. Glossy red lacquer decoration featuring the Phantom's roses and the Paris Opera logo on the back. Cap engraved with a lyre, the Phantom's window, the emblem of box No. 5 and the “F. de l'O.” signature. Gold and black finishes. Equipped with a double yellow flame and the famous “cling”.
